Draft — Pending Legal Review

This document is a good-faith draft written for MyEventHub as a UK online ticketing platform. It has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor and should not be relied upon as legal advice.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 July 2026

These terms govern your use of MyEventHub as a ticket buyer or account holder. Separate terms apply to event organisers who list events on the platform (see Organiser Terms of Use).

1. About MyEventHub

MyEventHub is a UK online ticketing platform. We provide the software used to list events, sell tickets, issue digital tickets, and manage customer accounts. We are not the event organiser. We do not run or deliver the events themselves.

2. Our role vs the organiser’s role

The event organiser is responsible for:

  • The event itself and all event information (dates, times, venue, performers, age restrictions, accessibility, running time).
  • Changes to the event, including postponement or cancellation.
  • Refunds, in line with their stated refund policy and applicable UK consumer law.
  • Delivering the event and admitting valid ticket holders.

MyEventHub is responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining the booking platform.
  • Processing bookings and payments through our payment provider.
  • Issuing digital tickets and providing customer accounts.
  • Collecting the per-ticket booking fee described at checkout.

3. Your contract

When you buy a ticket, you enter into two contracts: one with the event organiser for attendance at the event, and one with MyEventHub for the booking service (the booking fee).

4. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account details and keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • You must be 18 or over to create an account. Younger users may attend events with a responsible adult where the organiser permits it.

5. Prices, fees and payment

  • Ticket prices are set by the organiser. The booking fee is set by MyEventHub and shown clearly before you confirm your booking.
  • All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is taken at the time of booking.

6. Tickets

  • Tickets are issued as digital PDFs with a unique QR code and stored in your MyEventHub account.
  • Tickets are for personal use and must not be resold above face value plus the booking fee.
  • Each QR code is single-use. Screenshots that have already been scanned will be refused.

7. Cancellations, refunds and changes

Refunds and changes are handled under our Booking & Refund Policy and the organiser’s own refund policy. UK consumer law rights, including those for cancelled events, apply.

8. Prohibited use

  • Do not attempt to interfere with the platform, its security, or other users’ accounts.
  • Do not use the platform for fraudulent bookings, chargebacks without cause, or ticket touting.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for the booking service. We are not liable for the event itself or for losses caused by the organiser failing to deliver the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law (including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page and, where appropriate, notified by email.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
