Organiser Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 July 2026

These terms apply when your organisation uses MyEventHub to list events, sell tickets and manage attendees. If you accept these terms on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.

1. Who these terms are for

These terms are for community organisations, schools, charities, amateur drama groups and similar organisers who use MyEventHub as their ticketing platform.

2. What MyEventHub provides

  • Software to create events, define performances and ticket types, and manage seat maps.
  • A public event page and organisation page for each event you list.
  • Digital tickets with QR codes, PDF ticket delivery and a check-in scanner.
  • Order management, attendee reports and payout reporting.

3. What you are responsible for

  • The event itself, its content, safety and delivery.
  • Accurate event information: title, description, dates, venue, capacity, accessibility, age guidance and running time.
  • Your own refund policy, and honouring refunds in line with UK consumer law.
  • All licences, permissions, insurance and safeguarding requirements for the event.
  • Fair, lawful and non-discriminatory treatment of ticket buyers.
  • Complying with UK GDPR when handling attendee data, and treating attendee data collected through MyEventHub as processed on your behalf.

4. Fees and payouts

  • MyEventHub collects a per-ticket booking fee from the ticket buyer, unless you choose to absorb it into your ticket price.
  • Ticket revenue (net of booking fees and payment processor fees) is paid to your nominated bank account on the schedule shown in your organiser dashboard.
  • You are responsible for VAT, income tax and any other tax obligations arising from your ticket sales.

5. Content standards

You must not use MyEventHub to promote events that:

  • Are unlawful, fraudulent or misleading.
  • Promote hatred, discrimination or violence.
  • Infringe the rights of any third party, including copyright.
  • Endanger the safety of attendees.

We may remove content or suspend an event that we reasonably believe breaches these standards.

6. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or materially change an event, you must tell ticket buyers promptly through MyEventHub and provide refunds in line with UK consumer law. MyEventHub will assist by processing refunds through the payment provider.

7. Data protection

You act as data controller for personal data you collect about your attendees. MyEventHub acts as your processor for that data and will only use it to provide the ticketing service. A data processing addendum is available on request.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your organiser account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or if we are required to do so by law. You may close your account at any time; obligations to existing ticket buyers must still be met.

9. Liability

MyEventHub is responsible for providing the platform. We are not responsible for your event, your compliance obligations, or the actions of your staff and volunteers. You agree to indemnify MyEventHub against claims arising from your event, subject to limits allowed by UK law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to your organiser contact and posted on this page at least 30 days before they take effect, unless legal or safety reasons require a shorter notice period.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
